Our U.S. Presidents Day Biography Awards are just in time for President’s Day! This is a great biography activity that you can be use to honor the contributions of our country’s presidents.
This activity combines social studies, history, language, and technology. Students research the accomplishments of American presidents. They use their information to create an award certificate that highlights the person’s achievements and their impact on the success of our country. The U.S. Presidents Biography Awards are a great way to decorate your bulletin boards.
The package includes thirteen award templates in PowerPoint. Each template has areas for your students to add information. There is also a 13-page teacher companion with student handouts and rubrics. Finally, there are two sample awards that you can share with your students. You can upload the files to use in Google Slides.
