Description
I have always enjoyed using the game of Concentration for math during my Basic Skills sessions. I decided to make a version using Fry Sight Word Phrases (1-29) so my first graders could become “Sight Word Wizards!”
This will be a fun way to help my students learn and practice their sight word phrases and sentences. In this game, you will find numbers 1 through 29 of the First 100 Fry Phrases/Sentences.
There are a total of 64 cards:
- There are 58 game cards (each phrase or sentence is written on two cards);
- 1 Cover card;
- Direction cards (3);
- 2 Sight Word phrases/sentences cards.
There are four cards on each page. I have used a font called Open Dyslexic Font from OpenDyslexic.org for each of the phrases. Print the cards on card stock, and you are ready to play! I hope you find this game useful in your primary classroom!
