Description

The Great Kapok Tree Cause and Effect PowerPoint is a literature unit  that uses Lynne Cherry’s book to teach students about cause and effect and inference in literature.  I have used this unit for my fourth grade classes. You can also use this unit for third and fifth grade. The package includes:

• The PowerPoint, Teacher Companion, and Student Companion guide;
• The activities focus on inference and cause-and-effect relationships;
• The activities will encourage in-depth discussions about the characters’ words and personal responsibility towards our environment;
• The student PowerPoint has nine slides;
• The teacher PowerPoint, which includes notes, has 18 slides;
• Finally, the student companion has 11 pages.

This PowerPoint file is compatible with Google Slides.
