Our long vowels word sort journals are a great way to help your students remember some of the most common long vowel rimes. Each Word Family Journal includes:
- The word family letters and primary writing lines for words,
- a space for drawing pictures;
- On the back of each journal are extra lines for words;
- There is a letter tile sheet that you can print on card stock;
Your students can have their journals handy while writing in the classroom or at home. You can have your students use the letters as manipulatives for making words. I have included a cover sheet and a journal page sheet that can be modified for other long vowel rimes. A set of directions for putting the journals together is included in the file. Altogether, this ebook has 23 pages. A fun way to teach your primary students spelling!
